Velocity Sports collects personal/business information to enable it to conduct its core business activities including but not restricted to:

  • market research, client database development, conduct of surveys, development of administrative tools for clients, marketing services, event management, training, and athlete management.

The collection, storage and maintenance of personal information is necessary for Velocity Sports to provide ongoing services or to assist in improving its services to clients.

Personal information is collected from a number of sources and at various times during Velocity Sports' relationship with clients. Personal information can be collected directly from individuals, completed surveys, emails received and business cards.

The privacy provisions include an exemption for the collection, use or disclosure of information contained in employee records in the context of the employment relationship. For example, an employer is unable to disclose employee records for commercial benefit i.e. marketing, however, can give information to an insurer for the purposes of workers compensation.

Usage of Personal Information

Velocity Sports may use personal information for statistical purposes e.g. Grant applications. Velocity Sports may also provide personal information to a third party in the case of health emergencies; or where that third party is acting on behalf of or working for Velocity Sports i.e. sub contracting.

Where practicable, personal information will be filtered when the information is used for these purposes. In certain circumstances Velocity Sports may be required by law to disclose personal information to certain government bodies.

Velocity Sports will make every effort to ensure that personal information collected, used or disclosed is accurate, complete and up to date, and protected from unauthorised access and misuse. Personal information will be held in locked storage, password protected computers and will be deleted/destroyed if it is no longer applicable to the business of Velocity Sports.

Any business or individual can ask to access their personal information or to be removed from the Velocity Sports database at any time and at no cost.

Velocity Sports Pty Ltd will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Velocity Sports Pty Ltd will store all the personal information you provide on its secure servers. (Information relating to electronic transactions entered into via this website will be protected by 128-bit encryption technology)

Delivery Policy

You will receive your order in approximately 5-7 working days. Your postage costs are included in the total price of your purchase and therefore there will be no additional cost. If you are trying to estimate when a package will arrive please consider the following:

  • Credit card authorisation must be received prior to your purchase being sent.
  • Orders placed after 12pm may be downloaded into the system for the following day.

Out of stock items

If an item is temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted and informed of the expected delivery date. Velocity Sports will contact you within two days of receiving your order if this is the case.

Refund / Return Policy

Please enclose your receipt and merchandise within 14 days of receipt of the goods, in a box and mail to:

Send the box back to us registered mail. Please allow two weeks from the day you return your package for your account to be credited. Customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges.
